Mike Yeager

With all the lighting choices out there, you may want to reconsider just purchasing a lamp for your lighting needs. Whether you are looking for interior lighting or outdoor lighting, you can find many options pretty easily. Lighting fixtures have become more then just a means for gaining light. They are stylish and fun. They can be useful, but also are decorations for your home. There are many types to choose from as well.
Some things to consider when choosing lighting are what your needs, tastes, and desires are. You will want something that will fulfill all these elements. Let us talk about outdoor lighting for a minute. Outdoor lighting can be many things. It can be posts or landscape lighting. You can outline the path to your home or put spot lights on certain points within the landscape. You can choose from many different styles and types, colors and designs. Solar or not. Bright or faint.
Home interior lighting is also quite versatile. If you are looking for kitchen lighting, you will want something that is bright and will cover the entire surface. While you may also want to add a dimmer switch in your dining area. The bathroom lighting can be relaxing and soothing by using subtle lights and lighting fixtures. In hallways, track lighting is a good option as it is many lights that can be pointed in any direction.
With so many options, it is easy to see why the average lamp isnt used as much any more. Now, that is not to say that lamps arent part of your homes interior lighting scheme. There are many stylish, elegant, lamps that will fit into your plans. But, it is to say that they are not the only thing out there anymore. Now, to find these great types of lighting, try checking at local home improvement stores and even lighting specialty stores. Or, if you would rather check out your options at home, check online at the numerous online retailers.
There you can order hard to get items or specially designed items. There is no excuse, therefore, to not knowing what your options are. Trying new and exciting things will benefit your home for years to come.

Got a Small Business Choose the Right Domain Name
Blake Kritzberg

Choosing a domain name can be daunting. Research the subject after all, youre the type of marketer who researches, right and youll be hit with a landslide of opinions, most contradictory. There is, however, two points that everyone agrees on:
Pick your domain before you launch your business.
This is especially true if your market niche has lots of competition. Research your domain before you commit to a business plan.
Dont wait too long if you like a domain.
While youre researching, youll likely come across a couple of domains that attract you. You might be tempted to wait, since you havent finalized or refined your business plan. Dont. A handful of domains isnt going to cost you much at an affordable registrar like GoDaddy, and once theyre gone, theyre gone. Chances are you can even resell the rejects at cost, if not a profit. Or "develop" them with unique content and point them to your main site for extra traffic.
Now that we have the easy part of the way, lets wade into murkier waters.
Q. Which TLD top-level domain is best
A. If youre a juggernaut in the business world with a giant ad budget, the answer is dot-com .com. If youre a smalltime business struggling for search engine positioning, the answer is still dot-com.
People do disagree on the value of a dot-com TLD. Some assert that dot-coms have no particular value in the search engines, which may be true.
However, the fact is, if you havent yet seared your brand on the collective brow of the planet, dot-com makes you easier to remember. If you eschew dot-coms, then in some deep dark place inside, people will remember you as "that hard-to-remember URL with the ending that isnt dot-com." Whats worse, if you pick an otherwise memorable domain ending in dot-net, -us, or God forbid -tv, some of your traffic will end up at that competitor who snagged the dot-com version of your domain.

How To Choose The Right Scuba Fins
Laura Cain

When it comes to investing in your own pair of scuba fins, you have a plethora of choices from a number of manufacturers who continue to advance the engineering they use to produce the most durable, efficient fins possible. While the original, traditional full foot scuba fins are still popular among some people, there are many more styles available now. Most of the new styles of scuba fins are designed by using technical and involved mathematical angles and engineering so that the fin works to the divers advantage as far as efficiency and ease of use.
Some people find themselves being turned off by the complex and technical features of these efficiently advanced scuba fins, leaving them to be content with basic, traditional fins, which is not a bad thing. The main point to remember when purchasing your own scuba fins is comfort. If you are uncomfortable or awkward in a pair of fins, they arent going to work for you as intended. The specialized angles or split fins used to create greater kicking efficiency are only effective if you are comfortable wearing the fin and using it in the water. Comfort is important because only when you are fully satisfied with you fins will you be able to use them properly.
To help you choose which type of scuba fins will work best for your intended use you should research each style. First are the traditional paddle fins. Paddle scuba fins can be either full foot or have an adjustable heel strap. For scuba diving purposes, people most often use the adjustable heel strap fins of any style. Full foot fins are commonly used as snorkeling fins. Traditional paddle fins work to move water up and down as you kick and they are complimented by divers as being useful when free diving or in currents.
Several major scuba equipment companies have released a new, specially engineered paddle fin that provides much more move for you kick. Dacor and Tusa both have scuba fins with the optimized pivoting blade which is a design that angles the fin so every time you are kicking upward or downward the fins are at the most efficient angle for getting a more forceful kick. The specialized angles of these scuba fins alter the angle traditional paddle fins have, which makes you loose full force during part of the kick.
The next type of scuba fins are all altered in some way with splits, cutouts or vents that the manufacturers say enhance the kicking force and efficiency. The most prevalent of these are the split fins, also known as "Bio-fins" by some companies. These scuba fins divide the paddle of the fin into two parts with a sliver taken out of the middle vertically. Many people have come to appreciate the efficiency and forceful strokes split fins have been proven to allow you. The modification to these fins is supposed to minimize the number of kicks needed to get a set distance. Some divers still believe the most capable scuba fins are the basic ones. Again, the fins you choose should be primarily based on comfort and how easily you function in them.
Other types of split fins have horizontal splits or cutouts and vents at strategic places on the paddle. The Apollo Bio-fins are split scuba fins engineered to push water back, as opposed to up and down, like most fins. The Bio-fin acts like a propeller instead of a paddle, allowing you a much easier kicking task.
Force fins are an additional style you have to choose from. This type of scuba fins is considerably smaller than others, but if you are comfortable using them, they can provide equal kicking force. Force fins mimic a small scale whale tail, which is part of the reason they are claimed to have successful kicking efficiency.
Choosing between these broad types of scuba fins is only the beginning. Within each type there are several other designs to pick from and choosing which brand can be difficult too. Most people limit their selection by having a budget or price range not to exceed. Limiting yourself to a budget will not spoil a large selection though, because there is a variety of scuba fins in every price range. Obviously, the basic and simple scuba fin designs will be the least expensive and as the fins advance in efficiency technology and specialized features, the price will rise.
If you are an avid diver, owning pair of durable and efficient scuba fins is a must, so it would be wise to spend a little extra money on fins with some of the advanced features. At asudoit.com there equipment sold for many adventure sports, including several brands and styles of scuba fins. Here you can look through the features of all the broad types of scuba fins such as force, split, full-foot, heel strap and traditional paddle fins. DiversDiscount.com also has a large selection of scuba fins of all types. At this site you pay less than half the original price for the Tusa Platina fins, which have dual blade fins for greater propulsion force. These Tusa scuba fins are high-performance and available at a cheap price at the discount site.
As for shopping by specific brands, you may want to start with the most commonly know names in scuba equipment such as Apollo, Dacor, Oceanic, Sherwood and Tusa. Some scuba equipment companies are conglomerates, which means some of the less known and less expensive brand names you see may actually be made by one of the larger companies. This is a plus for you because often the branch off brand equipment will be cheaper price wise, but with quality and durability nearly equal to that of the more expensive, better known brands. Each of these manufacturers will have scuba fins for all types. Brand name preference is a personal choice, but each of the above brands are well known, reliable names in scuba fins.
Choosing scuba fins is a matter that is based on personal preference and each individuals selection will be different, but none of them are wrong. Because of this, it is helpful to have the wide selection available so that everyones preferences are accommodated. Whatever your choice, know that you are comfortable in the fins before you purchase them and look in to the quality and durability of the fins, as it will determine the fins life span and help you decide if they are worth the money.

Kenny Hemphill

Choosing an HDTV antenna can be a frustrating business. However, if you prefer to receive HDTV through an antenna, rather than a satellite or cable subscription, there are a couple of things that will make life easier.

First of all, if you can, you should opt a roof or attic mounted HDTV antenna. This will give you the best chance of picking up a good signal and is a must if you a re in an area where signal strength is poor such where you live some distance away from the nearest transmitter or where your signal is affected by hills or other environmental factors.

If an external HDTV antenna is not an option, perhaps because you live in an apartment or in a building of historic interest, then youll have to go for an internal, set-top antenna.

Unfortunately, every HDTV antenna is not alike and the quality of your picture can vary greatly depending on which antenna you choose. So how do you know which one to go for Perhaps the best way is to find out from people who already has an internal HDTV antenna, how it works for them. The best way is to talk to people you know - particularly those in the same apartment block. Failing that, user reviews on the Web are a good source.

Amazon sells a number of antennae for HDTV and user opinion on them varies greatly. For example, this Terk HDTVi Indoor VHF/UHF HDTV Antenna gets slated by users, while this Gemini ZHDTV1 HDTV-UHF Digital Indoor Antenna, which is actually cheaper than the Terk, gets great reviews.

As with any item of electronics, the key is to do your research. Find out as much as you can about the HDTV signal in your area, and if possible speak to people locally who are receiving HDTV via an antenna, before you buy.

In this article we are going to look at the thought process you should go thru to choose your domain name.
First of all lets define what a domain name is.
A unique name that represents each computer on the Internet. Some machines do have more than one domain name. The DNS converts the domain name requested by an Internet user into an IP address.
The Domain Name System DNS helps users to find their way around the Internet. Every computer on the Internet has a unique address

How to Choose the Proper Entity for Your Business plus articles and information on real estate

How to Choose the Proper Entity for Your Business
Tim Randle

First, let me state that Im not an attorney and the rest of this article is just based on my experiences so Id advise you to contact John Hyre at www.realestatetaxlaw.com to get some solid, specific advice on your particular situation.
Also, this article is not going to discuss land trusts, which some of you may have just stumbled upon. A land trust is not an entity. Although it is frequently used in conjunction with entities, it is merely a paper device used to shield property ownership from the public.
When I first got going, the recurring wisdom was that an investor should use a C corp for cash deals. By cash deals, I mean anything that throws off cash quickly. It might be a wholesale flip, retail assignment, rehab and retail, option, etc.
There were numerous reasons why this was and is recommended. First, the C corp offers great liability protection and allows the owner to take advantage of fringe benefits, thus draining the corp of excess profits through legitimate expenses.
What Ive learned the hard way is that this entity is not necessarily better for cash deals than other entities unless youre doing serious cash numbers. By this I mean that the added benefits that a C corp offers are not available to you without a ton of cash coming in.
Stop and think about it for a moment. Are you going to generate enough cash to pay normal operating expenses like salary, marketing, funding, overhead, etc. and still have cash remaining to set up company programs for retirement, medical, insurance, education, etc.
Typically, the answers going to be "No", at least during the formative years. The primary downside to a C corp is that any losses, paper or otherwise, do not flow through to your personal tax return. You dont get to use them anytime soon.
When I started, the secondary recommendation for cash deals was an S corp because it did offer many of the same benefits as a C corp, yet allowed the owner to flow losses through to the personal tax return. Once the business was thriving then converting to a C corp was not difficult.
When I went through this research again about a year ago, the majority of responses I received was that I should use a Limited Partnership LP for cash deals with a Limited Liability Company LLC as the General Partner GP. Ive also heard others suggest using an S corp as the GP. Other recommendations included using an LLC by itself as the cash deal entity.
What about entities for the keepers By that I mean any property that hangs around for a while and doesnt cash out soon. It could be a rental, lease option, or any property with owner financing, including subject to Sub2. What I was told there was the same; that an LP with an LLC as the GP was currently best.
The point here is that if you do spend the necessary time to research this issue and you should, you are likely to get each of these responses and possibly more.
My experience is that any of these suggested entities is better than starting with a C corp as I did. Factors that should play into your decision process include setup costs and any state-specific laws for each of the entities. For example, in my state, Texas, the LLC is much cheaper to set up than an LP. However, the LLC is also subject to franchise taxes on gross receipts over 150k and the LP is not.
Confused I agree its not easy to know what the right course of action is. Do you need an entity or multiple entities established before you do some deals Absolutely not. Why go to the trouble of setting up companies for a business that you may decide to discontinue How do you know if youll even like real estate investing until after youve done some deals Why do you need to set up serious asset protection until you have something worth protecting
My recommendation would be to begin to research the various entities for your state as you continue to work your investing business. In my opinion theres no need to make things complicated in the initial stages. If theres no obvious negatives to an LLC in your state, then perhaps that would be a good start.
I would not rush out and set up a separate entity for cash deals and a separate entity for keepers as I did. I would not set up an LP as my first entity as it involves at least two partners, one limited partner and one general partner. Entities are not set in stone. With the proper guidance and counsel from good attorneys and CPAs, you can make changes to your business plans as the business grows.
Again, this is not something you have to figure out when just starting. Find someone very knowledgeable about real estate investing, like John Hyre mentioned above, and begin to ask the tough questions so you can make informed decisions. As your business grows, your asset protection can grow with it.
Thanks for reading. Until next time, good investing.
Sincerely,
Tim Randle

The teams were picked and the line ups were announced. I was batting third. I could not wait to hit. Hitting to me was like eating for a fat man with a tape worm. I lived for the experience. I knew even before I batted that I would get a hit. I was so young and cocky! After the first two guys on my team made outs, I strolled up to the plate, as confident as Babe Ruth - pointing to center field in the 1934 World Series when he called his famous home run. Digging in and sneering at Donnie, I was determined to smack that pill. First pitch was a high and tight fastball. .

With plethora of hosting companies offering services, choosing a good web host seems an intimidating task. The technical jargon is hard to decipher and that makes it difficult further. It is better to prepare beforehand and then search for offers rather than acting otherwise.

What is web hosting If one compares the web to land hosing is the place where your office or website will be placed. Server is the computer which stores your website files and allows them to be viewed on clicking the link to your site.

With free hosting out of question for business and dedicated hosting being too expensive, shared hosting is the only and good option for home business. As the name suggests, in shared hosting your site is stored with many others unlike dedicated hosting which stores only your site.

Now let us discuss other features:

How To Choose The Best MLM Leads
Jeff Schuman

What are the characteristics of the Best Mlm Leads This is a good question to ask before you spend any money buying leads to build your MLM business. Before we get to that lets take a look at why you would want to buy MLM leads in the first place.
Over the years the multi-level marketing business has gotten a black eye because of the over hyped promises of money and freedom. Very few people have ever achieved a high level of success in any MLM business. And even fewer have ever been able to maintain the level of achievements over a period of time.
That does not make MLM companies bad. Nor does it make the opportunities they afford the average person as a way to make extra money or even as a way to drastically change your lifetsyle. It can be done and using MLM leads is a great way to do it.
There are 2 big benefits to buying MLM leads.
1. It gets you away from approaching your friends and relatives. If you have been in more than one MLM business over the years you may have already approached them and used up your credibility when you were unsuccessful.
2. This is a duplicatible way to build your business that you can pass on to your downline. Any successful network marketing business will tell you that one of the main components of success is duplication. Anyone can buy leads and work them over the phone or thur the internet with the use of an autoresponder.
If you are unsure of how to work a lead over the phone I would suggest getting the book "Recruit Your Way To Millions" by Fred Stegge. After reading this book you will be able to explain what you do and what you offer to a new prospect in 30 seconds or less. http://www.team-schuman.com/recruit-your-way
If you are unsure of what an autoresponder is or how to use one read this article I wrote "How To Effectively Use An Autoresponder." This is an absolutely essential business tool if you are going to succeed online with your MLM business.

Now that you understand some of the benefits of buying MLM leads and how to market to them lets take a look at what are the characteristics of the Best MLM Leads.
1. How many times are the leads sold Many MLM lead companies sell their leads over and over. You will be contacting a prospect that has already been marketed to. Personally I like eads that are exclusive to me.
2. How old are the leads Would you rather contact a prospect that has expressed an interest in the past 48 hours or in the past 48 days. Being able to strike while the iron is hot so to speak is a great benefit of a fresh lead.
3. How many leads do you get for your money Obviously the more leads you can get for the best price the more leads you can buy at a time. This is especially important when you are first starting or when you are helping your downline get started.
4. What is the quality of the lead Nothing compares to a lead that contains both a phone number and email address along with a few qualifying answers to questions like "How much can you invest to get started" or "How soon do you want to get started" or When is the best time to contact you" If a prospect is answering these type of questions you are getting a much better quality lead than if you just have a name and email address.
5. What is the response rate This will improve as your skill level at working your leads improves, but the fresher higher quality leads will give you a better response rate even when your skill level is low.
6. Do your leads come with any extras such as an autoresponder, training on how to work leads, pre-written email marketing letters, phone scripts, your own website, flash presentations, etc.
These are the top qualities of the Best MLM Leads. Be careful when choosing a place to get your leads. Not all MLM Lead companies are created equal. It is going to be the single most important decision you make when trying to grow your MLM Business. Make the wrong choice and you will waste your time and money as well as the time and money of your downline. Make the right choice and you can be building your business successfully for years to come.
