Brock Felt

When I was working at a gas station in Chandler, Arizona, fixing windshields for a living, making only $30,000 a year, I had all the drive in the world to succeed.
You see, I was in a franchise. I thought that since I had entered into a business of my own and if I worked it hard enough, I would have success. Man, I was dead wrong.
What I learned is that I could have all the drive and determination in the world, but unless I was behind a timeless, constant and steady product, it would be impossible to succeed.
What I am talking about, is an Evergreen product. When I was introduced to the business I am currently in, I quickly learned the power of an evergreen product. An evergreen product is something that is going to be around for a longtime. Everyone has to be able to use it. It must be a product in high demand consistently.
Health and Beauty sectors produce evergreen products. But, take cosmetics for example

How I Made Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies In Simple, Super Easy Steps
Kori Puckett

I was sitting there watching one of my favorite tv shows when a cookie craving hit me. As I watched one of the main characters take her chocolate chip cookies off the baking sheet, I drooled at the prospect of some freshly baked cookies.
I wanted something that was easy, quick, and didnt require me to go out and buy ingredients. So I searched the Internet, figuring peanut butter cookies would do the trick. I was surprised to find a peanut butter cookie recipe that didnt require flour. In fact, it didnt require many ingredients at all.
My curiousity peaked, I tried it out:
Flourless, 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup sugar or 3/4 cup, if you prefer
1 large egg
1 cup peanut butter crunchy or smooth

Combine sugar and egg in mixing bowl, stirring until smooth. Add peanut butter and mix thoroughly. Roll into walnut-sized balls.
Place the balls on ungreased cookie sheets at least 2" apart. Flatten with the tines of a fork, then turn the 90 degrees and use fork again t create cross hatches.
Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit or until done. Let cool in pan for 1 minute before removing to cooling rack. Leaving them on the sheet for too long will make them hard.
Yes, the cookies are soft after they come from the oven. I dont know how long they stay soft out in the open though, as I had a couple of cousins come over while they were baking and we all pretty much destroyed the cookies.
Still, if you plan on keeping them or any other type of cookies for that matter for a while, then put a slice of bread on the bottom of an air tight container and place the cookies on top. If you have any cookies left when the bread gets hard, replace the piece of bread.
I hope you try this peanut butter cookie recipe and love it. I know Ill be pulling this one out whenever a cookie craving hits me again.

Jeffrey Broobin

Buying a home is probably the single largest investment most people make in a lifetime. By preparing yourself and your credit before a home purchase or refinance, you can ensure a smooth finance process and can potentially save thousands on your loan. Improve your financial profile now so you can take advantage of the low interest rates before they disappear.
Start by checking your credit

To get the best possible mortgage rate, make sure your credit history is healthy and accurate. Aim to raise your credit score above 650 in order to qualify for most prime loans.
If your credit score is not quite 650, focus your efforts on paying bills on time, reducing your debt balances, avoiding new inquiries and clearing negative inaccuracies from your credit report.
Make sure the information on your report is correct and fix any problems you discover. Give yourself 30-90 days for correcting inaccuracies. You can learn more online in the Credit Learning Center http://www.legalhelper.ws/credit-reports-online.aspx .
Found an error while reviewing your credit with the lender Ask about the "rapid rescoring" process where you can submit a dispute and potentially improve your credit in 72 hours.

Figure out how much you can afford

The rule of thumb is that most borrowers can afford a home that runs about two-and-one-half times their annual salary.
Calculate your loan-to-value ratio to see how much you can afford to borrow by dividing the loan amount by the propertys value. If your loan-to-value ratio is above 80 percent your rates may increase significantly. Find a less expensive home or save up for a down payment to lower this percentage.
Calculate your debt-to-income ratio by adding up your monthly debts and dividing by your monthly income. A debt-to-income ratio under 20-39 percent is usually considered good and will help you be perceived as financially stable.
Dont be afraid to start small. Just because you may qualify for a large loan doesnt mean that it is a smart financial decision to buy as large a home as possible. Take a careful look at your family budget and your housing needs before you decide how much you can really afford.

Be a smart borrower this summer and save thousands by preparing your credit before you apply for a loan. Find out the loan rate you deserve at Legalhelper.ws! - www.legalhelper.ws/credit-reports-online-service7.aspx.

For some couples, the idea of real island romance is a private villa, without other guests. Just the two of you -- alone, except for the occasional visit by a cook or maid who is there to meet your special requests, to introduce you to island cuisine, and to make you feel pampered in what really is your home away from home. St. John, St. Thomas, Jamaica, and Barbados are especially popular islands for villa rentals.
Villas vary in price, services, and level of luxury. Before you make a commitment, check:
maid service. Many villas offer maid service before your arrival and after your departure; additional cleaning can be arranged for a surcharge. At other properties, you may have daily maid service. Check with your villa management company.
groceries. Can you send a deposit for groceries and have a cook stock up before your arrival Finding a refrigerator and cabinets ready with your favorites can be a big boost after a long flight.
cook service. Many villas can arrange for cook service as you choose: three meals a day, dinner only, or just one special meal. In Jamaica, villas typically include cook service. Check your options.
air conditioning. Dont assume your villa is air conditioned; ever-present trade winds make this an optional feature. If its more of a necessity than an option to you, inquire.
car rental. Many villas are located away from the resort areas. See if you should rent a car to avoid pricey taxi rides for long hauls.
minimum stay. Unlike hotel minimums of three nights, villas often require a minimum seven night rental.
Many resorts also offer villa rentals. These homes are located on the resort property and guests enjoy the security and services of the resort while at the same time having the space and facilities of a villa home.

Made in Heaven
Nithya K

Consumed by my loss, I didnt notice the hardness of the pew where I sat. I was at the funeral of my dearest friend - my Mother. She finally had lost her long battle with cancer. The hurt was so intense; I found it hard to breathe at times.
Always supportive, Mother clapped loudest at my football matches, held a box of tissues while listening to my first heartbreak, supported me at my fathers death, encouraged me in college, and prayed for me my entire life.
When Mothers illness was diagnosed, my sister had a new baby and my brother had recently married his childhood sweetheart, so it fell on me, the 27-year-old middle child without entanglements, to take care of her. I counted it an honour.
"What now, Lord" I asked sitting in church. My life stretched out before me as an empty abyss. My brother sat stoically with his face toward the cross while clutching his wifes hand. My sister sat slumped against her husbands shoulder, his arms around her as she cradled their child.
All so deeply grieving, no one noticed I sat alone. My place had been with our mother, preparing her meals, helping her walk, taking her to the doctor, seeing to her medication, reading the Bible together. Now she was with the Lord. My work was finished, and I was alone.
I heard a door open and slam shut at the back of the church. Quick footsteps hurried along the carpeted floor. An exasperated young woman looked around briefly and then sat next to me. She folded her hands and placed them on her lap. Her eyes were brimming with tears. Then she began to sniffle. "Im late," she explained, though no explanation was necessary.
After several eulogies, she leaned over and commented, "Why do they keep calling Mary by the name of Margaret
"Because that was her name, Margaret. Never Mary. No one called her Mary", I whispered. I wondered why this person couldnt have sat on the other side of the church. she interrupted my grieving with her tears.
"No", she insisted, as several people glanced over at us whispering, "Her name is Mary, Mary Peters."
"That isnt who this is, I replied.."
"Isnt this the Lutheran church"
"No, the Lutheran church is across the street."
"Oh"
"I believe youre at the wrong funeral, Miss."
The solemnity of the occasion mixed with the realization of the girls mistake bubbled up inside me and came out as laughter. I cupped my hands over my face, hoping it would be interpreted as sobs. The creaking pew gave me away. Sharp looks from other mourners only made the situation seem more hilarious.
I peeked at the bewildered, misguided girl seated beside me. She was laughing too as she glanced around, deciding it was too late for an uneventful exit.
I imagined my Mother laughing.
At the final "Amen," we darted out a door and into the parking lot. "I do believe well be the talk of the town," she smiled. She said her name was Rita and since she had missed her aunts funeral, asked me out for a cup of coffee.
That afternoon began a lifelong journey for me with this woman who attended the wrong funeral, but was in the right place. A year after our meeting, we were married at the country church, where her father was the pastor. This time we both arrived at the same church, right on time.
In the time of deepest sorrow, God gave me laughter.
In place of loneliness, God gave me love.
This June we celebrated our twenty-second wedding anniversary.
Whenever anyone asks us how we met, Rita tells them, "His mother and my Aunt Mary introduced us, and its truly a match made in heaven."
Jesus said, "If you are ashamed of me, "I will be ashamed of you before my Father."

How Many Sales Have You Made After Your Advertising Campaign plus articles and information on site

How Many Sales Have You Made After Your Advertising Campaign
Radhika Venkata

When you start your online business, you will go through a series of steps like:

	==>Domain registration
==>Website designing and installing your inventory and order links
==>Advertising about your products or service

Regarding advertising, you should always target your audience. When you are selling garden tools in Miami, you will get better results with offline advertising and Joint Ventures with other websites that are focused on Gardening and pointing to Miami area.
After Advertising, one important step is TESTING your advertising campaign.
Why
Look at this example. You spent $50 on keeping an ad on some famous site or a email campaign.Lets say this is one time ad.
If you dont know how many people clicked on your URL or how many people bought your product coming through that link, how are you going to spend another $50 on the same advertising method
Rather than Click thrus you can go one step further and calculate the number of sales per one advertising method.
Here are few methods you can use to track your results.
**1.Email Tracking:
If you have ezine and you are keeping your subscription email links in different places like other ezines, websites and ebooks, you can give a little code to your email address.
Like this-
subscribe@yourdomain.comsubject=ezine
subscribe@yourdomain.comsubject=ebook
First one in ezines and second one in your ebook. That little code goes in to subject area of emails.
By seeing your emails you can know from where you are getting more response.
**2.URL Tracking:
There are different ways to track your URLs.
You can keep your URL with a little code similar to emails.
www.yourdomain.com/product.htmlsource=ebook
You can also upload a different page for your each ad campaign.See the example below.
You have a page like- www.yourdomain.com/product.html
Then you can upoload the same page with different URL like- www.yourdomain.com/prod.html
So the visitors that comes to that page can be seen in your weblogs. If you have a good logging software you can save all the visitors information for that particular page.Check this weblogger-

http://www.logitpro.com/

http://perlonline.com/

This weblogger tells you exactly how many hits are taking by one webpage and referers.
So you can see how many hits are coming to your /prod.html page and referers.
**3.Click Tracking Software:
Click tracking script is a cgi script that gives you information about a click. The click may be on your website, emails, ezines, banners or anything.
If the click tracking script tells you the number of clicks it is not going to be useful to you. Because you cant differentiate the people buying through your campaign links or your regular links.
So what a Click tracking script should tell you
1. Tell the number of clicks to tell the click thru ratio:
By this you can optimize your ads. If a specified ad get low click thrus you can change the optimize it.
2. Tell the ip address of the visitor.
By this you can know which ad bringing you the sales. If a particular ip clicking on a specific link buys your product you can know that ad campaigns ROI.
3. Tells the geographical distribution of the clicks.
This is useful when you want to know how many clicks coming from different countries. Like if you see jp with ip address, you can know the visitor from Japan. But this is not possible in all cases.

http://www.scripts4webmasters.com/clicktracking/index.shtml

This is a FREE Click tracking script that gives you all needed information. It comes with easy admin panel.
IMPORTANT TIPS IN TESTING YOUR ADs:
==>If you think your URL is Alive, dont delete that page on your server.
If you keep an ad in your ezine articles and submit to other ezines, your articles will be spread all over the net after a while. If you delete that URL on your server people will get 404 page not found error and you will lose your potential visitor.
==>In email campaigns consider short URLs.Long URLs will break up in to two lines and the reader can not click on it to get your desired page.
==>Test ONE VARIABLE at a time.Suppose you want to check the response and sales rate for two different types of sales letter and by giving free gifts with your product. Dont test both at once. First check the sales page variable. If you dont get good response then go to free gifts variable.
If you get good response to one of the sales pages, then use the free gifts method in different advertising campaign.
Good luck!!

Finding it Online: Internet Research Made Simpler
Philippa Gamse

This article was originally published in Insights - the journal of the Northeast Human Resources Association.
Introduction
The Web can be an incredible tool for professional development - for finding resources and information, latest practices, for participating in discussions with colleagues and independent experts, and for mentoring opportunities.
But the rapid pace of change online makes the amount of available information quite bewildering. This article offers some suggestions for good research techniques, and for evaluating the credibility of the results.
Researching on the Web
Various tools exist to help you to find information on the Web:
1. catalog-style directories, which are maintained by human editors who index Web pages and reference them under categories that are offered to you on the screen, such as "business", "social sciences", or "computers".
The best known example of this type of Web site is currently Yahoo!, at:

http://www.yahoo.com

These directories are useful if you are looking for information under a broad heading, such as "distance learning", or "resume services". If you are interested in an area covered by one of the categories, this is a great way to begin finding sites on the Web. And each page that you visit may in turn refer you to other relevant sites.
However, directories will only return search results based on the title and brief descriptions of each site, and they will often only take you to the home page of any site. Therefore they tend to be less effective tools for in-depth content queries.
2. "spider-based" search engines, are fed by automated "spider" programs that constantly patrol the Web, indexing URLs and individual pages. Unlike the directories, they index every significant word of every page, allowing you to enter much more detailed searches. The first few lines, or a description of each page are shown on the screen, together with its URL, and if you want to go to that site, you just click on the underlined link.
There are a number of these sites too. My personal favorite is Alta Vista - its the fastest, seems to index the most Web sites, and allows the most complex searches. Alta Vistas Web address is:

http://www.altavista.com

These sites vary widely in the number of pages they index, and the complexity of search criteria they allow. It is well worth trying the same query using several different engines, and comparing the results.
Often, you may find that you get too much information from your search. It is important to think very clearly about exactly what you are looking for, and to put in specific search criteria that will really narrow down the results.
For instance, entering "distance learning" to Alta Vista returns 254,698 references. However, adding the term "software" reduces that to around 600 pages that can then be further broken down.
Each search engine has slightly different rules for specifying selection criteria, so you need to check the instructions for each one click on the "Help" button.
Tips for using search tools
These tools vary widely in the number of pages they index, and the complexity of search criteria they allow. It is well worth trying the same query using several different engines, and comparing the results.
If you are unsure of the timeliness of the Web page that you retrieve, most of the major engines now include the date of the pages that they return. If not, your browser may allow you to view some information about the document. This should include the date on which the page was last updated.
Many of my clients complain that they get too much information from their searches. It is important to think very clearly about exactly what you are looking for, and to put in search criteria that will really narrow down the results.
For instance, entering "consumer reports" will return about 300,000 references. However, adding the terms "coffee", and "Chicago", returns just nine pages that tell me specifically about local gourmet coffee suppliers.
Each search engine has slightly different rules for specifying selection criteria, so you need to check the instructions for each one click on the "Help" button. Or, for your more complex research you may want to seek professional assistance.
Obstacles in searching
There are a few common problems that you may encounter:
1. Missing links
Web sites tend to change very frequently, and you may often encounter referrals to pages that no longer exist, or that no longer contain your search term. The spiders visit each page on an average of once a month, so they cannot be absolutely up to date at any time.
If you think that the site you are looking for should still exist, try clicking into the Location box in your browser, and delete the last section of the URL after the last / . Then press Enter. This will take you up a level to the referring page, and you may be able to follow the links it contains to find your subject.
2. Domain name not found
If you get this error, try clicking on the link again immediately. This particular domain name may not have been referenced by anyone before at your Internet provider, and is therefore not in their indexes, which is as far as their server looks on the first request. But if you request the domain a second time, their server will do a lookup beyond its own indexes. Often, you will then be able to access the page.
3. Foreign languages
If the search engine gives you a page where the first few sentences seem to be in strange characters, that site is probably in a foreign language such as Japanese or Korean. Unless you have special software, your browser will not be able to display it.
Using bookmarks
Every Web browser should contain a "bookmark" or favorite places function. This allows you to record the URL of the page that you are currently visiting in your own personal directory with one click of the mouse. You can then return to that page later by calling up your bookmarks menu, and clicking on the name of the page that you wish to revisit.
Using master list sites
Because the Web changes so much, it is a constant chore to ensure that all your bookmarks are current. Instead of trying to maintain your own exhaustive list of links around a particular subject, check for a master resource site that is updated by a reputable institution such as a library. The Argus Clearinghouse is an example:

http://www.clearinghouse.net/

Printing and saving information from the Web
Your browser should allow you to print out any Web page currently on the screen. The command to do this will probably be found in a button on the toolbar, or under the File menu. However, remember that the printed page length will depend on your printer setup, and may not be exactly as it appears on the screen.
You can also save Web pages to your hard disk for subsequent use in a word processor, spreadsheet, or database. Pages can normally be saved either in their tagged HTML version, or in plain text known as ASCII. This option should be offered to you in the "Save As" dialog box on your screen. You will probably want to save documents as ASCII text unless you are studying HTML, and specifically wish to see the source code for a particular page.
Remember that you will only save the text of the page by using the File menu "Save As" command. Images that you see within the Web page actually come from separate files. However, many browsers will also allow you to capture these graphics files. In Netscape for Windows this is done by pointing to the graphic and clicking on the right mouse button. Check your own browser manual for specific instructions.
Copyright issues
Much of the information that is available on the Web is in the public domain - that is, free to be used by you after you download it. However, if you see a copyright notice you should certainly respect it. And if you are intending to quote someone, it is courteous to request their permission first-use the e-mail address given on the Web page.
Using mailing lists and newsgroups
Many people forget that there is more to the Internet than the World Wide Web! I strongly encourage my clients to explore electronic discussion lists and newsgroups. These exist for an incredibly diverse list of subjects, both of professional and recreational interest. Subscribing to them can give you access to a group of worldwide experts that you pr

Eugene Savov

The discoveries of normal galaxies, strings of galaxies and heavy elements in the far distant universe [1-7] suggest that these space objects have to be older than what the big bang universe can allow for their creation. In this way the big bang universe enters its current age crisis [8], which will require some new assumptions to mend the edifice of this complex theory. The basic principle of parsimony, known as Occams razor, says not to do with more, e.g. with more assumptions, what can be done with less [9]. The advance of science shows that nature prefers simplicity and the simple explanations are hard to find because nature complicates in our perceptions [10]. The big bang theory offered a simpler explanation for the cosmic microwave background radiation as a thermal radiation left after the big bang and thus sent the rival steady-state theory of the universe into oblivion. The theory of interaction offers a simpler explanation for the puzzling clumpy structure of the universe and the structure of the cosmic microwave background [10].
The accessible universe is like a cloud of galaxies that moves around its source like an atmospheric cloud that drifts around the center of its planet [10]. Our Galaxy is like a huge atom whose nucleus is orbited by stars. Similarly the electrons move around the nucleus of their atom. The solar system also resembles an atom with the Sun taking the role of nucleus and planets rotating around it. The universe is like a hyper huge atom whose nucleus, the center of Eugene Savovs "firework universe" cast away the nuclei of the smaller atomic like structures [10]. The created huge nuclei did the same and so on. In this way a universe made of multiscale nuclei was created. So the "firework universe" had a sudden lumpy beginning, which is consistent with the big bang burying discoveries of normal galaxies at the outskirts of the observable universe. Savovs universe also accounts for the mysterious dark matter, which is found to be created from huge 3D-spiral swirls of basic matter that drive around the smaller ones. The universe is made of 3D-spiral swirls of basic matter that create smaller ones in their structure rather than from seen as elementary particles, born from mysterious matter-antimatter asymmetry in even more uncertain big bang universe beginning [10]. We see only the inner parts of the 3D-spiral swirls of basic matter because they move faster and so become denser and visible to us [10].
The just born "firework universe" looked as made of bright blue stars - the smaller ones moving around the larger ones [10]. The cooling of this universe created the cosmic microwave background radiation and its structure. The smaller stars cooled and created the planets and their planetary like moons. The extinction of the expansion of the 3D-spiral swirls, seen as stars and planets leads to mighty 3D-spiral contraction of the "basic matter" that creates supernova events [10]. The atoms are like very small stars. Eugene Savovs theory of interaction shows that we are not made of stardust as the big bang theory claims. We are made of atomic size stars [10].
There is universal similarity in nature arising from its discovered 3D-spiral underlying structure. The universe is made of contracting and expanding, vibrating 3D-spiral swirls of basic matter that depending on their size create what we see as galaxies, stars, planets, planetary like moons, atoms, electrons, elementary particles, light, space and time. The 3D-spiral contractions and expansions of the largest swirl, the source of the universe, make it always finite in one revealed complete picture of creation. Every body and similarly the universe as a whole come from and later end on their discovered finite source. For example a form of life comes from and latter ends on the Earths surface. The all-building interaction is governed by scale independent laws that arise from the discovered 3D-spiral fractal like fabric of reality [10].
Nature has a 3D-spiral code, which is in each of its bits like the DNA double spiral is in each cell of life [10]. The properties of the discovered all-building 3D-spiral structure of nature are described in the theory of interaction [10]. This structure shows that clumpiness is a basic trait of existence, which can be observed since the first moments of the universe beginning. The fundamental nature of lumpiness is well in agreement with the puzzling discoveries of galaxies and heavy elements at the fringes of the observable universe [10]. The Hubble Ultra Deep Field and other similar findings [4, 11] and "the swirling flow of gas hovering just a few miles from the surface" of what is considered to be a neutron star [12] are just some new confirmations of the "firework universe". The 3D-spiral nucleus of the star remains after annihilation of its atomic shell during supernova explosion. This nucleus has to be very massive and dense, made of predominantly inward 3D-spiral swirl of basic matter [10]. Thus it will display properties that are usually explained as a neutron star.
The theory of interaction shows how the current understanding of nature can be simply derived from a new basic framework, considered at the scales of observation [10]. Thus the theory of interaction expands the understanding of nature up to the discovered frames of existence. The discovered universe unfolding is a key to the understanding of life, mind, the cause of cancer and the other health problems. The real understanding of nature will essentially improve the quality of life.

Home Business Writing Made Simple
Dan J. Fry

Have you ever written a letter to a friend Ever written an outline for any project you were about to start What about a shopping list If you have, and I imagine most have, you can then write focused, brief, content articles for your online home business.
Why write Well, of course you can spend lots of money to drive traffic to your site with absolutely no guarantee that you will obtain a single sale. Moreover, most of the traffic, although targeted, may leave your site and forget it ever existed. Writing puts you personally, your site, and your products/services within the same framework as a well-honed opt-in list of subscribers. People remember you, learn to trust you, eventually purchase from you, and most importantly return to purchase again and again, as long as you continue to offer what they need.
"So how can I simplify what seems to be the arduous task of writing", you ask
Try this:
1 Take out pen and paper and go someplace quiet where you can trigger the creative side of your brain. Yes, I said pen and paper. Dont sit in front of the computer for this exercise.
2 Sit back and think for a moment about your online home business. What do you offer What have you learned so far about building traffic Have you noticed any patterns for certain promotion methods that work What about anything that can be considered well needed advice to others just starting out
3 Now write down the first thoughts that come to your mind. Dont edit. Your not at that stage yet. Just write the ideas, and do this for several minutes, or until you have at least a single page filled up.
4 Done Good. Now go back to the top of the list. Slowly go through and hone the ideas. Anything that pops out as particularly intriguing or immediately brings up related ideas mark off for the next step. These are the ones to develop further.
5 Now take out a sheet of paper for several of the ideas marked off and write the idea at the top of the paper. You can use your computer now, but I tend to think better with pen in hand.
6 O.k. Ready At the beginning I asked if you ever have written a letter to a friend Remember Keep this in the back of your mind always. Write like you speak. I promise you that for short content articles to develop your online home business, this is the tone that works. If people need a textbook they will buy one.
7 First make a list, sort of a shopping list of related things to cover. Try not to get carried away. Remember - short content articles.
8 Now fill in the details as if you were explaining it to a friend.
Thats it. All there is to it. I think you will be surprised how easy it is once you write a few. Personally, I keep a notebook handy at all times just for ideas that I later cultivate into short articles. When I learn something new that I believe will be of benefit to others I make a note.
The power in this technique resides in the fact that you are not a robot and neither are your prospects. When you write, and take it from the perspective of friends sharing information, you step onto a personal level. Now who wouldnt pick up on that. Eventually, with continually writing and publishing your articles in newsgroups, e-zines, and other web site, your credibility builds, your persona builds, and your traffic and sales will build. You absolutely cannot loose with this cost effective traffic generating strategy.
