The Perfect Diet Just for You – Diet
The Perfect Diet Just for You
Michael Fortomas
You decide to start a new diet plan. You shop around, get ideas, talk to friends, family, co-workers, forum friends, chat room buddies…then you choose the one that sounds best and works within your budget and sign up.
Next comes the fun part of learning a new system. You count calories, track servings, buy special foods, hit the treadmill, plan meals around special recipes, weigh in regularly and log everything.
What happens over time Maybe some of these:
You lose some weight. You gain some weight. The food choices start to bore you. Youd rather count sheep than calories and put the little weighing gadgets back in the drawer. Everyone who thought you could stand to shed a few pounds, even recommending diets for you to choose from, are now saying things that trip you up like, "Oh, you dont need to loose any more weight." Or "Its OK to eat a Big Mac and French fries this time."
Youve started skipping weigh-ins and meetings because of time, then "just because"…no reason. I mean, why go through that, right You KNOW what you should and shouldnt eat, so why go listen, weigh in, blah, blah, blah…
You quit - for now - fully intending to pick up the program next week. OK, next month in reality. Or next year. OK, next LIFETIME.
To begin, simply consider these facts…
A healthy diet goes hand-in-hand with healthy weight management. No pain, no gain, right Wrong!
Individual activity and dietary goals depend upon each persons health and weight goals and issues. Depending upon individual health concerns and issues, food choices can affect body and mental health. Arriving at the Perfect Diet is no quick, simple task in today’s world of fast-paced living.
For example, there are a several different educational food pyramid plans. The United States Department of Agriculture USDA has a food guide pyramid. And the Mayo Clinic, in conjunction with the May Foundation for Medical Education and Research, has their Mayo Clinic Healthy Weight Pyramid. A list of pyramids are updated regularly at the USDA site: http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/Fpyr/pyramid.html
Then there are the lifestyle choices to go along with the dietary plans. Lives need to be balanced in order to make the perfect diet effective. For example, depending upon the body type, history, physical and mental make up and other factors, some dietary solutions are more perfectly suitable and / or adaptable than others when working in accordance with day-to-day activities; exercise, nutrition, health, etc.
You must learn about foods with respect to nutrition, dietary and body basics and common disorders. Then you can choose which areas of importance you would like to focus on from subscriber and other organizational programs available today for help with diet solutions, to weight products, to an assortment of food planning tips, and more.
All the above should be made under the guidance of your own medical practitioners.

Planning the Perfect Baby Shower – Parenting
Planning the Perfect Baby Shower
Adriana Copaceanu
One of the most exciting events an expecting mother looks forward to is celebrating her baby shower.
Deciding to Throw a Baby Shower
Baby showers are often thrown by a friend or family member. Formal tradition dictates that someone other than a family member throws the baby shower, but this certainly does not have to be the case and many modern women go against the grain and welcome any offers from family willing to throw a party on their and babys behalf.
Preparing Ahead of Time: The First Critical Steps
Planning and throwing a shower can be a cumbersome task if you go into in unprepared. It certainly does not have to be however, if you keep a few things in mind.
One of the most important considerations is planning where and when the baby shower will take place. The majority of baby showers are held before mom gives birth, but this is not always the case and certainly does not have to be. Some mothers are superstitious and prefer to have the baby shower after birth, to ensure the happy and healthy delivery of their newborn. Be sure if you are planning the happy event to check in with mom to be to ensure you plan it at a time that is comfortable for her.
Most showers are held in someones home other than that of the new mom. Typically the person throwing the baby shower hosts the party at their house or at an alternate location such as a park or reception hall.
Invitation List
The next step in planning a shower is figuring out who to invite. The guest list should be the responsibility of the guest of honor. Letting mom develop the invitation list will ensure that no one gets left out.
Most parties held are women-only parties, though this trend is rapidly changing. As fathers continue to become more involved in the planning for new babies, many couples are starting to hold co-ed parties that invite couples. Be sure to check in again with the guest of honor to ensure that the theme of the party matches her preferences.
Themes and Thrills
Deciding on a theme isnt necessary, but can add fun and excitement to the party. The theme of the party for an expectant parent who is having a boy baby might be something as simple as a color, such as "green". Guests might be encouraged to bring gifts that correspond with the nursery room theme as well. Many parents for example, design babys room with a certain theme in mind such as ducks. Guests might consider brining items that match this idea. Even the cake and decorations can be designed to incorporate a selected topic or idea.
No baby shower would be complete without incorporating a few fun games. Deciding on games doesnt require a degree in rocket science. One popular and traditional game involves having everyone get together in a circle and write down one piece of advice for the mom to be. Another one might have everyone right down one prediction for the new babys future. These cards can be collected at the end of the party and stored in babys memory book for review at a later date, providing a wonderful memento for mommy to be and baby.
Though it is not required, some hosts provide gag gifts for anyone participating in a game. This can be a fun way to allow mom and guests enjoy the gift giving bonanza.
One last tip to consider prior to throwing the party is finding out where an expectant mom is registered. Including this information on the invitation or having it available to give out to guests will truly help mom receive special gifts that will match her preferences for babys first year. One of the reasons for throwing a shower is to help new parents collect much needed items for babys first year.

Why Laminate Flooring Is The Perfect Choice For Family Households – Home
Why Laminate Flooring Is The Perfect Choice For Family Households
S.A. Smith
If youve ever had carpets or vinyl flooring youve probably had your share of stains, spills, and rips that no matter what you do, you cant quite wash out. Or perhaps the family pet has scratched the carpet edging, or even worse - had a bathroom mishap on the childrens favorite playing area
Your flooring nightmares can finally end! Laminate flooring was designed to stand up to the rigors and demands of a busy family household and when compared to other types of flooring solutions easily outperforms in almost every category. Here our our top reasons for selecting laminate flooring for a family household:
Laminate flooring is tough
Designed with a tough and durable wear layer, it is much stronger than most installed solid hardwood flooring, vinyls, and carpets. It stands up much better to dents and scratches that the softer surface of solid hardwood floors, and is a much better surface to install if you have heavy foot traffic, kids, or household pets. Best of all - it continues to look brand new even after years of wear and tear.
Stain, fade, and moisture resistant
Most laminate flooring manufacturers offer triple warranty protection against stains, fading and moisture damage for 25 years. In contrast, solid hardwood floors are susceptible to wood grain staining, fading in repeated sunlight exposure, and are not a suitable floor for areas with high moisture or humidity levels.
Laminate flooring is easy to install
The popular quality brands of laminate flooring have gravitated towards a glueless click together floating floor installation process.
These floors simply need to be cut to size, clicked together, and are immediately ready to walk on or place your furniture. Most weekend do-it-yourselfers can handle this installation, but should expect to take 2 - 3 times longer than a professional installer.
Laminate flooring is easy to clean and maintain
Spills and messes easily clean up with a little soap and water thanks to the hard moisture and wear resistant surface coating. No residual stain or mess will remain and your laminate floors will continue to look brand new. No more run down and tired looking floors!
Laminate flooring are a healthy flooring choice
With regular cleaning cycles, laminate floors can provide a much cleaner and healthier living environment when compared to carpets. Less dust, pet dander, allergens and dust mites accumulate on the surface, and the laminate surface will not hold residual stain contaminants like a carpet will. Allergists will often recommend to their patients the removal of carpets from the living space.
Laminate flooring is economical
Once you consider the costs of alternate flooring solutions over a typical laminate flooring lifespan it becomes an extremely economical solution. Carpets will require 2 to 3 replacements during this time, solid hardwood floors will require refinishing 4 to 5 times, and vinyl will need to be replaced at least twice, or more depending on traffic loads.
A worry-free family focused flooring surface
Kids can play toys on it, the dog can run through with muddy paws, the neighbor friends can visit with wet shoes, and the baby bottle spills all over the floor... not a problem anymore! Laminate floors are the perfect floor for busy families and growing households.
