If you dont know by now one the best ways to attract free traffic to your site is with articles. You find them in your email. You find them on any website that provides useful content. Take a look and you will see they are all formatted the same way.

Body of article usually offers tips or how to information
Resource box - That is at the end and involves a blurb to plug your site or product and your links
Im sure if you think about it you can come up with some ideas of your own for great articles. A good place to start:
What is it that you would really like to know Find the answer online with Google or go to your local library and write away!
Aside from creating helpful content your purpose is to promote yourself. Thus, the resource box. Do not include affiliate links, leave your selling for when the reader clicks through to your site.
Okay, youve written an article- what now
Submit your article to the article banks. Article banks are depositories for articles. Like a real bank you can make a deposit or a withdrawal. There are several articles on my site that I did not write. I made several "withdrawals" from some of the banks. Its a great way to get free content for your site.
When you are re-publishing another authors article you must remember one very important thing: Never ever cut-off the resource box! They worked hard to create something useful for you. Repay their generosity by keeping the links intact.
And guess what if you take your article and make a "deposit" its free for others to download and post on their site or newsletter! You could find it scattered all over the net in no time.
Why is that good Because of your link in the resource box. That link is going to bring you curious visitors which means more traffic for you!
I know from personal experience when I find some useful info in an article I want to find more useful stuff from the same author so I follow the link.
And because you wrote so well about your topic I will get the impression you are an expert. We both know that may not be the case, but if people see you as an authority in some area they will seek you out for tips, advice and product recommendations. That means more traffic and ultimately more money in your pocket.
There are dozens of article banks you can submit your writing to for free. Just do a search on the net. And submit, submit, submit! If you write it - the traffic will come.

We all know that generating traffic to your site is creating a flow of visitors, but what is targeted traffic Targeted traffic simply refers to visitors who are actually interested in the topic of your product or service. Targeted traffic will greatly out produce non-targeted traffic in terms of open rate, click through rate, and sales conversions rates.
Id rather have 10,000-targeted leads than 1,000,000 non-targeted leads. Emailing a bunch of people who dont care about what you have to offer is a waste of your time and theirs. This technique is now commonly referred to as Spamming. Spamming can get you in trouble and cause you to loose your ISP.
There is absolutely no excuse for Spamming these days. There are many other legit methods for marketing your products or services. Email marketing is still one of the most cost effective forms of advertising on the Internet, but it must be permission based or opt-in email marketing. Opt-in email marketing will produce much greater results than unsolicited email or Spam.
Building your own list is an intimidating task for many people, but it is very easy to do. Basically you must capture the email addresses of people who visit you site. This can be done by offering them a bonus and getting them to subscribe to your newsletter. The second step is to stay in contact with your list by providing them good information through a weekly newsletter or monthly bulletin. Make sure you provide your list with good, valuable content.
By building a list of subscribers, you will be building a targeted group of potential customers that you can use to offer your own products or affiliate products to. You can also use your list as leverage to participate in joint venture with other ezine owners and Webmasters. Your list is a powerful thing.
Another great way to build your list and actually make money at the same time is to sell your prospects information and then add them to your list. This list will be superior to your freebee list because it will be made up of customers who have already proven themselves to be buyers and are interested in the types of products that you are offering. You will also want to stay in contact with this list as you would any other one, by providing a newsletter or bulleting.
One very important thing here that I must note; in order to sell information as you build your list you must be able to generate the targeted leads to advertise to. I have found an excellent system for generating over 2,000 fresh leads a day. These are not just any old leads either; these are real people who are active Internet marketers. How do I know They are in the process of posting ads when they agree to receive email from me. For the information that I sell, these are the most targeted leads that you could ever find.
This technique of producing targeted traffic in known as reverse marketing and it is very effective. I have a coordinated portfolio of FFA networks that produce these active leads for me every single day. The way that everything is setup allows me to easily and quickly collect my email leads everyday. I also have everything setup so that I earn a nice residual income from the same companies that help produce the leads.

What if you had the very top position when they typed "your product category" into MSN, Yahoo or Google
If youve had your website up for even one week, youve realized that getting to the top of the search engines is no easy task. The competition is fierce, isnt it And you have to constantly keep up with the search engine rules and regulations to keep your listing.
Dont get us wrong. Search Engine Optimization is a key to our strategy and should be for you, too.
Weve seen some internet "gurus" out there that teach that you dont need to submit to the search engines anymore because of "pay-per-click" engines. We couldnt disagree more & recommend you stay away from such advice!
But getting to the top of the free listings can take months. What do you do if you need to start making money now
USE "PAY-PER-CLICK" ADVERTISING!
We feel there has never been a greater way for the "little guy" to compete with the "big guys". It doesnt matter what industry or niche you are in. Or what product or service you are offering.
Yes, you do have to put out a little cash. But for as little as $.05 to $.10, you can do what every website owner is desperately trying to figure out.
Have you ever heard the saying, "Build it & they will come" In the brick and mortar world, this may work. But if that is your internet marketing strategy - You need to adjust what youre doing now!
As a website owner, you need to find ways to have your customers find you. You must learn to drive traffic to your site.

You bid on a specific "keyword" or keyword phrase that a customer would type into a search engine to find your product or service. As mentioned earlier, you could bid as low as $.05 or $.10 at places like Overture or Google. So if someone likes the ad you have listed, clicks your ad and is linked to your site, you only pay your $.10 or $.25 or $.50 - whatever you bid, you only pay if they actually click YOUR ad and go to YOUR website!
You have control of that ad. So you make it loaded with info that would cause only someone interested in what you have to offer to actually click. You must get inside your prospects head and figure out "What does this person really want"
- Ad copy is an art in and of itself - Well need to postpone discussing that subject for a later time
Once that person arrives at your site, its up to you to make sure your site really "sings" and compels your prospect to sign up for your mailing list, buy or whatever it is you want them to do.
But do you see the beauty of all this You find out what keywords your prospects are looking up, you bid on those keywords and Bam! - YOUR AD APPEARS AT THE TOP OF MSN, YAHOO, GOOGLE, etc.
These are qualified prospects! People interested in buying only what you have to offer. Never before in history has it been possible for a business owner to start a business, place an ad and get QUALIFIED buyers so quickly; at such a minimal cost to the owner!
Imagine it costing you $.25 or $.50 to attract a prospect to your site. Lets say you offer a product selling for $75. How often would you like to give us $.25 every time we gave you $75 Can you see how quickly you can have a thriving internet business up & running
We recommend starting at pay-per-click engines like www.Overture.com, www.Findwhat.com and Google adwords. It would be wise to go there and review their guidelines and how they operate.
If you invest the time necessary to master this subject and add it as another "spoke" to your advertising "wheel", you will see not only a huge surge in your website traffic, but your profits as well.
And, ultimately, thats what youre really after, isnt it
